African Market Place in Sweden!
This Sunday was spent in Frölunda torg, where I took photos for SkandikAfrik. We enjoyed some very good music and performances together. Also there were talks from passionate young students about water issues and sustainability.

Arriving
We seem to have arrived home at the same time as the first snow...
Adapting to -8 degrees cold after having spent three weeks in Indonesia sometimes feels just like you have jumped straight into your own freezer, it is too cold and too lonely in there. All you can hear is the dull sound from the engine going round and round...
Luckily though, there are some good things about being back also, like to be with Bonny, taking long walks and to hear the snow creak under a warm pair of winter shoes. It is not that bad, really. Also, going back to University is nice too, with a new course to focus on and lots of interesting lectures.

Selamat Pagi!
Good Morning from Bali, Indonesia!
Right now I'm lying outside on a huge sofa looking out over our lush green garden and the pool. The staff has arrived, preparing breakfast. I have been lying here all night long, listening to the rain come and go, watching the light play during sunrise and enjoying the birds songs. It simply can't get much better than this!
Even after travelling for more than 20 hours, coming here was all worth it...
We started our trip on the 25th of January (this Sunday), taking the train from Gothenburg to Stockholm.

Time is running away
Time is slippering away faster and faster. This autumn has been quite intense, and it seems as if the days only disappear into nothing. Stress and tiredness has been two far too close friends of mine and these last few days have been crazy even though I've only had one paper to write. I mean, I have barely woken before it seems like it is time to go to bed again?
...Lets hope next term wont be so stressful! I have only applied for 30 credits in Human Ecology, and have no other plans than studying and working with Lotus Lens. So hopefully, there will be less to do.
Anyway! A week ago (feels like yesterday..), last Friday, we had oral presentations of our groupwork at University. Our focus was Jakarta and we did a sustainability analysis of the City in accordance with the DPSIR-underframe. It was an interesting task, but I think it would have been much more interesting if we would have had some more time to look into it. But as with many things at University, it is just rushed through. There just aint time for anything more I guess... how very unusual ;)
When I am in Indonesia, I will spend three days in Jakarta before going back home again. It will be very interesting to look at some of the things we wrote about and take loads of photos!
Until next time,
Have a Merry Merry Christmas!

A Green Christmas
It looks like we are going to have a very green Christmas this year, and I'm not just thinking about our upcoming trip to Indonesia... Walking our dog yesterday, I brought the camera with me and took some photos to show you what I mean. It is actually still green and growing outside, and today it is 22th of December! That bud-filled branch I posted a photo of earlier in December is now sporting some brand new leaves.

HaKoJoMa
Latley I've been meeting up with old best friends, sitting in Cafés talking for hours and hours and looking att old photos from around 2001. I can't help but get a little nostalgic about how much fun we used to have!

Nikkor AF 24mm f/2.8 lens for sale!
This was my first real wide-angle lens that I bought. It is still in good shape, without any scratches on the glass and have been used with an UV-filter only. This filter comes with it too (Kenko PRO1 Digital). It uses autofocus only and is easy to use and bring with you because it is so small. Perfect for bringing with you on your holiday or for photographing different landscapes.
Price 1500 SEK. Sold!
Here are a few examples of pictures taken with this lens and a Nikon d700 camera house (click on an image to view it in larger size):
